As I predicted, the shutdown has been stopped and the president has agreed to make a deal with the Democrats. This is good news, because the thousands of workers who have been affected by the shutdown will receive paychecks and hopfully be able to pay off loans and rents soon.
The only bad thing about this is that since the goverment has not offically opened yet, there is a slight chance that the president will change his mind. But, as of right now, it looks like everything will get back to normal soon.
